The first matryoshka appeared in Russia at the end of the 19th century. It was created by Andrei Petrovich Malyutin, an artist and craftsman who worked in Abramtsevo, near Moscow. Malyutin was inspired by Japanese wooden dolls representing the seven gods of fortune, where figures were nested inside each other. He adapted this idea to create the first Russian matryoshka, which depicted a peasant family. The first set consisted of eight dolls—seven girls, a boy, and the smallest doll—a baby.

Discover the world of Russian folk art with the exclusive "First Beauty" matryoshka painting set. This set includes 7 wooden dolls (ranging from 2 cm to 13.5 cm), each carefully carved from high-quality linden wood and coated with linseed oil to protect the wood and enhance the paint application.

The matryoshka is ready for creativity: each doll has contours replicating the pattern of the first Russian matryoshka created by the artist Andrei Malyutin at the end of the 19th century. This is a unique opportunity not only to touch history but also to create your own unique souvenir.

Benefits:

  • Develops fine motor skills, attention, and artistic taste;
  • Ideal for family creativity and the development of cultural traditions;
  • Allows you to create a unique gift with your own hands.

Immerse yourself in the creative process and decorate each doll, adding bright colors and unique details. Your matryoshka will be not just a toy, but a true work of art and a piece of Russian culture.
