Today, wooden dolls are crafted by artisans at Brest Souvenir Factory, a Belarusian company with over 80 years of expertise. With hundreds of unique designs, each matryoshka set is truly one of a kind.

This set of five matryoshkas features traditional Belarusian folk patterns, with dolls of varying heights ranging from 2.2 cm to 9 cm. But these are more than just decorative dolls—they are surprise toys, as each larger doll hides a smaller one inside.

Every matryoshka is completely handcrafted, from the initial wood processing and shaping to the final hand-painted details by skilled artists. This meticulous process ensures that each doll is unique. The use of safe, water-based paints and non-toxic lacquer makes them allergy-free and child-friendly. Only high-quality natural wood is used in production, making each set both durable and environmentally friendly.

Because all matryoshkas are hand-painted, no two sets in the world are exactly alike! Before reaching the artist’s table, each wooden blank undergoes up to 15 processing stages, from shaping to surface polishing, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
