A workshop is a chance not simply to buy a souvenir, but to create one yourself. Guests learn about the factory’s history, work with wood, paints and ornament, and take their finished piece home.

The first workshop focuses on a classic Brest Souvenir Factory piece. The second explores the painted wooden chests of Western Polesia and the Ogovo decorative painting tradition.
Matryoshka painting
A warm and recognisable souvenir connected with the history of Brest Souvenir Factory since 1953. A good introduction to hand painting and to a traditional souvenir from Brest.

The workshop can be arranged for one guest or adapted for a group, tour itinerary, family visit or corporate event.
All materials are included
No preparation or tools are required. The artist guides guests through every stage, from the first idea and lines to the finishing touches.
Information for groups
Tour, school and corporate groups can arrange the number of participants, a convenient time and the preferred format in advance. The workshop is easy to include in a visit to Brest.
Prices
The price depends on the participant’s age and group size. Wooden blanks, materials, instructions and guidance from the artist are included.

The price includes the wooden blank, paints, brushes, an apron, an illustrated step-by-step painting guide and support from the artist throughout the process.
Schedule
Workshops are held by prior booking. We agree on a convenient time and the number of participants, then prepare the workspace, materials and wooden blanks.
