This is the largest and most spacious box in the «Yanov» series — a central piece of the «Polesskaya Skrynka» collection, inspired by traditional Polesian chests that once held family treasures, dowries, and sacred memories.

Every surface is hand-painted by an artisan of Brest Souvenir Factory in the traditional Ogovo style — a regional decorative art form rooted in Western Polesia. The vibrant flowers represent blossoming life and home blessings, while the white rhythmic lines echo the embroidery of old household linens. The symmetry and order in the ornament reflect harmony in the home.

This box offers generous storage space — ideal for jewelry, letters, photographs, or meaningful keepsakes passed down through generations. It is more than a beautiful item — it is a symbolic vessel that preserves the warmth and spirit of heritage.

The name «Yanov» refers to the historical name of Ivanovo — a cultural center where the Ogovo painting tradition has been preserved for centuries. Surrounded by forests and rivers, this region has long nurtured the spirit of handmade art passed from master to master.

The «Polesskaya Skrynka» collection is based on real historic chests from Polesia. The original that inspired this model is part of the «Ahouski Kufarek» exhibition in the village of Lyakhovichi.
