Introducing «Yanov» — the first design in our «Polesskaya Skrynka» collection. The name honors the historical name of the town Ivanovo, a cultural center in Western Polesia where Ogovo painting traditions flourished. Every element of this piece is inspired by the heritage of local masters who expressed their worldview through decorative motifs rooted in their native land.

This box is shaped after traditional chests, crafted to preserve warmth, memory, and meaning. Hand-painted in the authentic Ogovo style by Brest Souvenir Factory artisans, it reflects a lineage of craftsmanship tracing back to 1953.

Light, tactile, and deeply symbolic, «Yanov» is easy to carry, easy to give, and hard to part with. Inside, the natural linen lining makes it ideal for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or cherished heirlooms.

The original chest that inspired this piece is preserved in the «Ogayski Kufarek» exhibit in the village of Lyakhovichi (not to be confused with other places of the same name).

«Polesskaya Skrynka» collection is dedicated to the masters of Western Polesie. All models are named after the geographical points of the region where the tradition of painting is alive. Each box is a piece of a big story.
