This is the second design of the «Yanov» model — part of the «Polesskaya Skrynka» collection of hand-painted wooden boxes. Inspired by the shape and symbolism of old Polesian chests, it is created by artisans of Brest Souvenir Factory and decorated in the traditional Ogovo painting style.

The name «Yanov» refers to the historical name of Ivanovo — a town in Western Polesia where this unique decorative tradition has deep roots. The floral motif celebrates harmony with nature and daily beauty captured in color and form.

Compact, warm, and inviting, this box is lined with natural burlap inside — perfect for storing jewelry, keepsakes, and meaningful small items. A true symbol of heritage and a guardian of stories and traditions.

Each model in the «Polesskaya Skrynka» collection is named after real places in Western Polesia — paying tribute to local artisans who passed down their vision of beauty and belonging through generations. The original chest that inspired «Yanov» is part of the «Ogayski Kufarek» exhibit in the village of Lyakhovichi.
