Masha The Traveler
At first, we simply took one of our matryoshka dolls with us on trips and photographed it in different countries. She appeared on the streets of old cities, by the sea, in the mountains, on squares, in museums, at airports and in small cafés – wherever the road took us.
Then it became clear: this was no longer just a matryoshka. She had gained a character, her own story and even a name. That is how Masha the Traveler was born.
At first, Masha was taken on trips by the factory director, Vladimir. Later, friends, customers and guests of our shop began joining the idea. This is how Masha became a small symbol of Brest Souvenir Factory – a matryoshka that travels the world and tells our story without extra words.
Why Masha
Masha is a warm, simple and easy-to-understand image. There is something very human in her: curiosity, openness, love for new places and the wish to return home with stories.
She reminds us that a souvenir is not just an object bought as a memory. It is a small travel companion. It can stand on a shelf, move from country to country, appear in photographs, become part of family stories and remind people of the place where it was found.
