Friends, the fourth nesting doll in our collection is here! This time, we take you to Central Belarus. The set includes seven matryoshka dolls, handcrafted from natural wood and meticulously hand-painted in traditional Belarusian style.

The Maladzyechna costume is one of the regional variations of the Belarusian national dress, traditionally worn in northern Minsk and Hrodna regions. The outfit consisted of four main elements: a linen shirt (кашуля), skirt (спадніца or woolen андорак), jacket (жакетка), apron (пераднік), and a headpiece (каптур).

The andarak (skirt) was made of brightly colored, handwoven wool with horizontal stripes. Festive skirts were crafted from fine, expensive wool and were usually longer than everyday skirts. The jacket was made of dark wool, undecorated, and tied at the front in a corset-like fashion. The shirt featured richly embroidered cuffs and a collar, while the apron was light-colored with a simple, plant-inspired zigzag embroidery pattern. The headpiece (каптур) was covered with a scarf (хустка), completing the traditional look.
