The fairy tale "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen was first published in Denmark in the mid-19th century and quickly became popular in many countries worldwide. Since then, it has been reprinted multiple times, illustrated by various artists, and even adapted into films. Now, the artisans at Brest Souvenir Factory, with over 80 years of history, have created a beautiful set of wooden nesting dolls inspired by this magical yet sad love story.

Handcrafted Art Based on a Timeless Tale

The set includes five unique nesting dolls. The largest doll (3.74 inches tall) features the tin soldier along with the lovely ballerina. The next doll shows the troll jumping out of the snuffbox, followed by two separate dolls — the soldier and the ballerina, seemingly parted. The smallest doll (0.86 inches) depicts the tiny tin heart, where the steadfast soldier melted in the furnace.
